Here’s our story.

It started with a problem
we couldn't ignore.

In 2014, Clay Upton was deep in the middle of building his own business. A book recommendation from co-founder Jay sparked a question neither of them could let go: Why don't better tools exist for teams actually doing the work?
Six days later, Clay pitched the idea at a business operating systems conference. Todd was in the crowd. He got it immediately.

But the longer we worked alongside businesses and coaches, the more we saw the same gap showing up everywhere. Frameworks that were too rigid. Platform built for the tool, not the team. Coaching programs that handed you a playbook and disappeared. The human side of growth—the relationships, the culture, the way people actually show up for each other—kept getting left out.

We didn't set out to build a platform. We set out to fix something that was genuinely broken. Bloom Growth is what happened when we refused to stop there.
