This past month, our engineering team worked behind the scenes to make significant technical improvements to the backend that have resulted in faster load times, smoother navigation, and better app-wide stability and reliability. These weren’t just minor tweaks—they were fundamental optimizations designed to create a noticeable difference in how the app performs.
- Smarter data requests: Bloom Growth now fetches NoteText only when needed, reducing unnecessary queries and improving speed.
- Faster meetings with caching: Redis caching significantly reduces load times by pulling frequently requested notes from cache instead of reloading them each time.
- Dedicated file handling: We introduced a separate infrastructure for file uploads and downloads, improving efficiency.
- Optimized connections: Unnecessary open subscriptions are now automatically closed in real time, preventing slowdowns.
- Lighter frontend requests: We refined how the platform pulls data (only pulling what’s essential), reducing excess server requests for smoother performance.

- Meeting tiles with archive: Keep your workspace clutter-free while maintaining access to past meetings.
- Full-screen meeting tiles: Expanded tiles with a larger, full-screen view offer better readability and navigation.
- Smarter wrap-ups: Sort to-dos more effectively with sort-by options, and email summaries now default to including archived headlines, completed to-dos, and notes (with easy toggles for customization).
- Simplified meeting creation: The “Launch” button now says “Save” for clearer functionality.
A smarter, more efficient workspace
Your workspace should work for you. That’s why we’ve introduced updates that bring better flexibility and organization:
- Sort to-dos by due date: Prioritize tasks more effectively.
- Quick-add actions on hover: Save clicks and time with a streamlined workflow.
- Easier renaming: Rename meetings and workspaces directly from headers.
Metrics that do the heavy lifting

- Fully responsive charts: No more awkward resizing; metrics now fit seamlessly on any screen.
- Reverse personal metric tiles: Customize how you view personal metrics in workspaces.
- Better cell note management: Notes close automatically after deletion for a cleaner interface.
A better business plan
A well-structured business plan is key to long-term success, and we’ve made it even easier to manage.
- No more character limits: Seamlessly transfer legacy business plans into the new format.
- Improved archive and delete icons: Clearer, more intuitive controls.
- Better Quarterly Alignment Meetings: Adjusted sections eliminate unnecessary scrolling for a more streamlined view.
Access more in the Resource Center
We’ve given the Resource Center a refresh, making it easier to access key tools:
- Refer a Client and Give Feedback: Now easily accessible in the Resource Center.
- Updated design: More intuitive navigation for a smoother experience.
- Celebrating wins: Fireworks animations are back for completed to-dos and tangent alerts. Because big tasks deserve big celebrations!
Exterminating app bugs
Unless you’re an entomologist, bugs really aren’t your thing. And if you’re developing or using software—they’re not yours, either! Here are a few bugs that we addressed:
- To-do stability: The “To-dos from Milestones” features is now off by default but remains available if enabled.
- CSV export fixes: Archived issues now correctly export for full visibility.
- Symbol input fixes: No more cursor-jumping when using “&” “<” “>” in text fields.
- Meeting and attendee lists: Now sorted alphabetically for easier scanning.
- Smoother meeting navigation: The org chart consistently displays during meetings, and switching between views is now seamless with a single-button toggle.
