I started my first business at 21 with no clue what I was doing. By 27, I was on my fifth. But cash was always tight, and I never truly understood why. In 2019, I finally brought in a Financial Director to help me get a grip on the numbers. A few months later, he calmly showed me the date I’d go broke. Terrifying, yes. But also the turning point. Seeing the truth in black and white (and red) gave me clarity and courage. I made bold, painful decisions, cut deep, and got through 2020 without a loss. That clarity saved my business and set up my most profitable year ever in 2021. Since then, I’ve made it my mission to help other founders and leadership teams do the same: cut through the noise, face the hard truths, and turn strategy into execution.
